Help us renovate our old A-frame storage building into a beautiful chapel at Hibburt Park.
Canterbury
Our dream is to renovate an old storage building into a gorgeous little chapel where our campers can find stillness and gather for morning and evening prayers.
Once completed, this chapel will become central to the spiritual growth of those who pass through Hibburt Park. Our dream is to create a comfortable, warm space that entices campers to come and draw near to God.
Please consider giving generously to this important project.
Hibburt Park is a Christian camp located by the beach in Spencerville, Christchurch. It exists to help young people fall in love with Jesus, deal with their issues and become contributing members of their communities. The camp is overseen by Revolution Church (Christchurch) and managed by Matt & Belinda Stott.
We need a range of building materials to complete this project as every inch of the current building needs to be updated. We need insulation, a new roof, windows, a new door, wooden panels, lighting, wallpaper, electrical wiring, and flooring.
Our budget for this project leaves some money left over to help furnish the chapel also.
We made it!!! Thanks to you :) 31 May 2017
Well, our Hibburt Park chapel fundraiser is complete and thanks to you over $9000 has been raised!!
We feel so incredibly humbled by your generosity and hope that one day soon you will be able to visit the finished venue for yourself.
In decades past the vision of Hibburt Park was to provide a place where young people would encounter the abundant life that Jesus gives. Soon, this vision will once again be realized.

Matt & Belinda Stott – Hibburt Park Managers
