Hip replacement for our Mom Susan in the Philippines

$670 of $10,000 goal
Given by 15 generous donors in around 6 months

Please help us raise funds for the hip replacement surgery of our mom in the Philippines...

Auckland

No one can ever replace our mothers and we will do everything to help & save them in return for all the selfless love and care they have given to us...

We are doing our best to do the same but unfortunately, in these trying times we are unable to raise enough funds for our mom.

Last Monday, our mom collapsed at her home and broke her pelvic bones. She is now at the Philippine Orthopedic Center. The doctors have advised for a hip replacement surgery for her case but unfortunately this procedure will cost so much.

Our mom is 60 years old, with brittle bones, has diabetes and unable to see which is not helping with her condition. She is the only one left and our dad passed away 4yrs ago. Us her children are trying our best to provide for her daily support but unfortunately we cannot afford the cost of her surgery which is over 8K USD not including her recovery expenses.

We hope you can help us raise these funds for her surgery and help alleviate her pain and mobility. No amount is too small especially when it comes from the bottom of your hearts...

May God all bless you and thank you so much.

Use of funds

The funds will be used for the hip replacement surgery of our mom. Any excess funds will be used for her recovery post operation and medicines...

1 Month at the Orthopedic Hospital   6 February 2021

It’s been a month since my mother-in-law was admitted to the Philippine Orthopedic hospital and we would like to thank all of you for your love & care. This has made our difficult journey more bearable knowing that we have your support. Our mom was supposedly scheduled for operation this coming Tuesday (9 Feb) because her blood sugar has finally became stable. However, we were informed by the doctor that since her fractured femur has been left broken for a long time, it would be advisable not to use cannulated screws but to do a total hip replacement to avoid complications. We are still on the lookout for implant availability for the surgery to happen as soon as possible.

We hope you continue to include us in your prayers as we go through this difficult time.
