In loving memory of Jess Reid

Alex and Jess had been together for 7 years. Jess was 16 when they met and they were immediately inseparable. They got engaged on 27 December 2018 at Auckland zoo in the Galapagos tortoise enclosure. Very fitting for this reptile crazy couple. The wedding is booked for 27 March 2021. They moved into their first house (dream property) on 21 June 2019. They were living their best life. They had many plans, involving their wedding, having children , travel, and more fur babies. Puppy Zac is Lost without his mama Jess.

Unfortunately their plans were cut off at the knees when Jess passed suddenly at home alone on Friday 20th September, from what was possibly a horrible epileptic seizure. She was only 23.

Words cannot describe the pain Alex and the family are feeling right now. Life will never be the same. There are no words.

The condition of them getting their mortgage was having 2 incomes, now Alex is going to struggle to keep their home and look after all their pets. He desperately wants to stay in their house but even with a lodger it’s going to be touch and go. Unfortunately due to a life insurance stand down period there is no help coming following her death.

Jess was a well loved part of the PETstock family, an excellent groomer and was about to embark on running puppy schools, she will be sorely missed.

We would love to raise some funds to help Alex stay in the home they were supposed to share their entire lives in. Anything will be appreciated.
