Cath still putting others before herself, helping others to help others.
Auckland
On the 1st of September I said goodbye to my darling wife Cath. Our beautiful Daughters, Laura and Hannah, said goodbye to their Mum. Cath joined her Mum and others lost along the way in Heaven. Her Dad Phil and Stepmum Sandra lost another child. Her sisters Mary, Lou and Tor lost a sister. Mum, Brother and Sister in laws, a Sister. Nephews and nieces, an aunty, and their children a great Aunty. We have all had to say goodbye to a special friend.
As we knew this day was coming we had been planning together how we would remember and what would happen . Covid has put an end to a lot of those plans, however one thing that we had both decided is that we would ask that instead of people sending flowers, perhaps they might like to donate to a charity of Cath's choosing. For obvious reasons Cath has always donated to the Heart Foundation and we would send some of the funds raised this way. The Nurses and Doctors along with counsellors, massage therapists and other staff at North Shore Hospice have done such a wonderful job. Their care and empathy towards not only Cath, but Laura, Hannah and myself has been unbeatable, and Cath's wishes were that they were a recipient also of any donation. Our vision is that all money donated here would be forwarded on in Cath's name and memory
Thankyou.
Helping two worthy causes that have helped us.
