Inca and her family need your help
Inca needs help to get the urgent treatment she needs to live her life to the fullest

Hi my name is Inca and I am a 6 year old German Shepherd.
My family are devastated as I have just been diagnosed with cancer in my jaw.
My Dad, Mum and little sister absolutely adore me and will do everything possible to help me live my life to the fullest.
Unfortunately the cancer has eaten away the bone in my lower jaw and I can no longer do the things that I love to do like playing with my toys, tug of war with my sister or even enjoy my evening dental stick.
We have been through a lot to get to this point, and we still have a long road ahead as I have now been referred to Massey University Veterinary Hospital, first to ensure the cancer has not spread, then all going to plan I will need surgery to remove the cancer and the damaged half of my lower jaw and finally rehabilitation to learn to live with my new jaw.
My Dad and Mum say I am the goodest of girls and a fighter who deserves every possible chance, and I really would love to be able to continue to be with my family for years to come.
Unfortunately this will be an expensive process for my family and any assistance to help support my treatment would be so greatly appreciated.

Use of funds
Treatment costs, including veterinary consults, scans, surgery and rehabilitation. Any surplus funds will be used to assist others in need and donated to an animal welfare charity or treatment centre.

We made it!! 19 September 2022
Hi everyone Inca's Mum here, well we got her final results and we have the all clear in her jaw!! Our Family is over the moon!!
It has been a long and tough road and at times we were a bit worried about everything Inca was going through, but without this I don't know if she would be here with us today, and she is happy, back to her bossy self and enjoying life with her sister.
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone for the love and support, it has meant so much to us. There are a lot of special people out there who have helped us get here and we will be forever grateful, no words could really explain just how thankful we are.
We would also like to make a special thank you to the amazing Vet team at Massey and Pet Vets Silverstream for taking such amazing care of our girl and treating her like their own!
