Fundraising to send 'Inside Stories' exhibition to Parliament

Help us exhibit a curated collection of children's 'Inside Stories' photographs at Parliament in May 2026. This is a wonderful way to show Wellington what living in the rural South Island is like for young people.

'Inside Stories' is a free hands-on workshop facilitated by Heather Milne for young people in rural New Zealand about the processes and ethics of photographing their own stories and environment. The result is a collaborative photography exhibition and archive of photographs for locals, by locals. Tamariki in the Grey, Buller, Selwyn, and Ashburton Districts have already participated, and we have been invited to exhibit a collection of the work at the art gallery in the Beehive from May-August 2026.
