We have organised a 'Shave For Janelle' event to raise funds for Janelle and her three young daughters.

Most of you will be familiar with local identity Wayne “Pongo” Leslie and his iconic mop of hair – well it's all coming off! Yep, Pongo has agreed to shave his head in support of Janelle and her family. Many thanks Pongo!

Pongo will be joined by several of the Three Furlongs staff members: Kyle Underwood, Rhys Shadbolt, Corey Slimo and Samuel Stephens. Yet another example of the fantastic Three Furlongs supporting our community.

Many thanks also to hairdresser Rose Paikea and her crew from Headz of Hair who will be doing the shavings.

Want to cheer on the 'shavees' as their locks hit the floor? Join us at the Three Furlongs on Saturday 7th October at 8pm, and please bring a few coins for the donation bucket.

Janelle - hairdresser, former policewoman, Christian, and devoted mother to her three beautiful daughters - is a lady who has spent her life tirelessly giving to others. Now it's time for us to give back.
