Support Jane on her end of life cancer journey.
Mount Eden, Auckland
For the past few years Jane has been living with metastatic breast cancer, which has spread to her bones and other organs. As is her nature, she has been extremely strong willed and kept an optimistic and lively spirit through her surgeries and treatments. Over the past six months, Jane has become a lot less mobile - mostly unable to leave the house and only able to get up for an hour or so at most, while still doing everything in her power to manage pain and be present for visitors.
Sita, close family friend, has set up this page on behalf of the family to support Jane
Supporting Jane with the expenses of being cared for at home, eating healthy organic food, taking herbal and natural remedies and rongoā to support her medical treatment, she and the family need your help.
Jane's doing well 22 September 2025
Kia ora friends and whānau. I'm delighted to report Jane is doing really well right now. She is remarkable, and although still fighting some nasty infections, is making the best of every moment. One of her greatest sadnesses is no longer being able to cook, it is her love language. But we have a workaround, and that is she directs everything from the dining table in short bursts, with naps in between, with a team of kitchen hands. Your love, blessings and koha have been enormous enabling Jane's quality of life for the time she still has. Thank you so much from all of us. We are still taking donations to help the next stages of the journey, but Jane has requested we close this page this month.
