Joe needs a Mobility Dog

Hi I'm Joe! I have Friedreichs Ataxia, and use a wheelchair to get around. For the last six years I have been supported by Shelby, a beautiful golden retriever. She has been my closest companion through difficult times, the covid lockdowns, protests, and good times with whānau and friends. She died of leukaemia this year. In my grief it is hard to imagine getting a new dog, but it is important to keep moving forward. There is a $10,000 cost for a new mobility dog that I need to pay, and I need to raise the money for it. Please help, if you can. anything you can give is dearly appreciated. I want to stay active in my community and a mobility dog helps make that happen.
