Joy Ramirez, the author of Toot, passed away tragically whilst on her honeymoon on Sunday 13 August.

Joy was in the process of publishing a second children's book following the adventures of Toot: The World's Tiniest Whale - Joy's family would love your support to publish the book for her.
Joy successfully wrote, published and crowdfunded the first edition of Toot: The World's Tiniest Whale (the original page is here: https://givealittle.co.nz/project/tootthewhale).
Toot is a truly wonderful book for children, written and illustrated in true Joy fashion - we'd love to realise Joy's dream and have more of her incredible talent, passion, and a little more Joy out in the world.

J&A have known Joy, Matt, Grace, Jon, Michael and Geraldine for a long time and are completely heartbroken to know that Joy is no longer with us. She is one of a kind, a reminder that the world is a wonderful place, and we'd do anything to keep a little Joy out in the world.
Joy truly embodied her name and has left behind so many wonderful memories for so many people, we are so grateful to have had even a small role in Joy's world, and our hearts are really broken for Matt, Grace, Michael, and all of Joy's family and friends.
