The Kashmiri Association of New Zealand (KANZ) is a registered charity dedicated to uplifting Kashmiri communities both here in Aotearoa and back home in Kashmir. Providing critical aid and economic relief to impoverished families across Kashmir. Your support helps provide food, warmth and hope to those facing extreme poverty.

Your Impact in Kashmir:

Through your generosity KANZ provides critical relief to those in crisis:

• Healthcare: We donated oxygen concentrators worth over $10,000 to provide free support to COVID-19 patients.

• Housing & Food: We funded the rebuilding of homes destroyed by fire in Baramulla and provide ongoing financial aid for food and household essentials to hundreds of individuals.

• Education: We sponsor the schooling of underprivileged children, committing to support them through high school.

• Religious Giving: We facilitate the distribution of Zakat, Fitrana and Qurbani meat to the most vulnerable.

Building Community in NZ:

Locally, KANZ fosters a strong sense of belonging by:

• Settlement Support: Assisting new arrivals with immigration cases and employment mentoring.

• Connection: Hosting social events and Eid celebrations to support our elderly and youth.
