Northland
Situated not far from the Taipa Marae an Urūpa (Cemetery). There lies a straight line of graves, each are Whanau member's that have passed away from an hereditary heart condition they carry in there family. FDC
The latest is at the top of the line, Is Latesha's brother who only lived to see his 19th birthday.
FDC- Familial Diluted Cardiomyopathy, the left ventricle (the main pumping chamber of the heart) becomes enlarged and the muscle of the wall is thin. This affects its ability to pump blood effectively.
This condition is likely to cause fatigue, tiredness, shortness of breath and heart rhythm problems, also causing many other problems; all of which our girl is currently experiencing.
She has her good days and bad days, just taking it day by day.
Right now she is been taken care of by her team of specialists at Auckland Hospital, where she will remain until they confirm otherwise.
At this moment we have our whanau team looking after her and keeping her company. Big love to you guys.
This time around we want to make sure we know as much of this condition as possible, and just be there to support our girl through this time in her life.
Not being able to be there for her brother like this, has opened my eyes to do as much as we can for his sister and our whanau.
’ve set up/ updated this give a little, in hopes that some funds can makes things a little easier for her and our whānau (family) helping her, from gas to medication bills, any extra bills that occur anything will help.
I want to thank everyone who donates to our girl Tesha, big or small it doesn't matter whanau , thank you.

March Update 4 Tesha 13 March 2021
Kia Ora everyone
Our girl has been released from hospital for the past few weeks, she’s enjoyed her time heading home and spending time with family.
At the moment our girl is back in Auckland, the medications seems to be making other important parts of her body to struggle a bit more with everything going on.
This time around the only thing we can do is try more medicines and keep her as healthy as possible.
I want to say she’s getting better, but we just have to keep trialing, and keep her strong mentally and physically.
She loves the whanau so come and visit if you can.
Thank you again for all the support from everyone.
Will update again soon
Keep Praying and sharing x
Nga mihi.
