Help Learn Active raise funds for a new van to transport students during their outdoor education programmes.

Learn Active is a registered charity that provides quality outdoor education programmes for students with intellectual disabilities.

For us to give the students a greater opportunity to explore, learn and achieve while on programme we need a reliable vehicle to transport them and our equipment to locations throughout Canterbury.

We have had some bad news about our current van so needing to gain our van fundraising goals as soon as possible, as we currently have over 35 young adults attending each week over 4 or 5 programme days.

Learn Active has been operating for over 3 years offering full day programmes that cater for 15-35+ year olds with intellectual disabilities.

We love developing our self confidence, independence, social skills, physical fitness, team work and technical outdoor skills while exploring our great outdoors! So your help towards our goal is greatly appreciated.

As the managing Director and founder of Learn Active it is very important that I help to provide my students and staff with a safe, reliable and adequate vehicle for use while out on programme.

I will be running our fundraising project and helping to purchase the new vehicle once our goal is reached.
