Learn Active is a registered charity that provides outdoor education opportunities to people with intellectual disabilities, 15 years old and above.
Our mission is to enable people with intellectual disabilities to explore and have fun in the outdoors while creating and achieving their goals, learning new skills & building friendships.
We run a range of programmes during the term, holidays, weekends and overnight..
We are based from the Cracroft Guide Centre in Cashmere, Christchurch. And head out all over Canterbury and beyond during our programmes.
By joining a Learn Active programme, our students will gain:
