Two young Kiwi curlers are on a mission to fly our flag at the Beijing Winter Olympics - let's give them a hand!
Nationwide
Two of our best young curlers are on their way to qualify for the Mixed Doubles Curling event at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Mhairi-Bronté Duncan and Brett Sargon haven't been able to train together for 3 months (thanks Covid!) so will have 9 days sharpening their skills in Sweden before they head to December's Olympic Qualifying Event in the Netherlands.
They're really grateful for the support from NZ Curling, Sport NZ and Auckland curlers, but still have about a $5000 shortfall in their mission. So let's give them a hand!
Auckland Curling Club was founded in 1996 to promote the Winter Olympic sport of curling in the Auckland Region
All funds will go towards Brett and Mhairi's travel and accommodation costs. Any excess will go towards their pre-Olympic training when they qualify, or future NZ teams competing overseas.

"We're really grateful for all the support we've received so far," said Sargon after their last game. "It's safe to say that we're very disappointed, but this has highlighted the learnings if we are to make that next step."
