Let's help her not to have to worry about money. Click on the page title for what she needs the money for.
Wellington
Cecily is a lifetime educator and artist who has made a massive difference in the lives of many children and their parents. Sadly, she has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has been given months to live.
She will need to give up work soon, and the Supported Living Allowance is insufficient to cover her living expenses, treatment costs, dental bills, and funeral.
Her friends are wanting to draw on the goodwill of the community she has served for so many years. We are asking for everyone who has been lucky enough to have their life touched by Cecily to contribute what they can to help her not to have to worry about money as she struggles with the disease.
Please do what you can to help!
Thanks very much, Leah
I am a friend of Cecily's and want to support her as much as possible.
Update from Cecily 20 December 2016
Oh thank you so much Gae and family, Deb & Rata (and two guest donors) for your wonderfully kind words and your generous donations before my page finishes off on Xmas day. I am so grateful for your support…and your beautiful words bring a tear or a smile – I have loved the children and parents so much and felt so blessed to have had a chance to know you. A big thank you to everyone who left kind words and donations – I really believe that it gave me renewed life to know that I made a bit of a difference in my work which has been such a passion in my life. My next scan is next week and the results come through on the 9th of January….so cross fingers for me! J
At any time I am available on 021 2112410 if there is anything I can do for you in return.
Lots of love and many, many thanks from Cecily xxxxx
