Life after Rikkis passing

In 2024 rikki and Nykala were both in the news and media for there story regarding rikkis diagnosis and accident which led to him passing away shortly after: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/help-us-buy-more-precious-time-with-our-beloved Nykala has now had to quit her job as a nurse to be more available to her four children, she is experiencing significant hardship and struggling to maintain living costs. “All I want to do is to be able to afford the urn for rikki, and be able to manage my debt, my four children, and to be able to work again, but without the extra support it is so hard.” “I also want to take this opportunity to talk publicly about how hard it is to lose a spouse, been left in debt and trying to survive off work and income, with myself and four children, it is just not enough to cover basic needs, let alone living”. People deserve more support than this in New Zealand. “I would like to start a business networking with other people that have experienced the same trauma,financial hardship and offering wrap around support so no one has to experience this alone, knowing first hand how difficult it is to juggle alone.”

Funds raised will help get them out of debt manage costs and hopefully start a support service, and childcare for work.
