It's our time to give a little back to the most amazing woman who deserves the best fighting chance to kick this disease to the curb.
Hawke's Bay
Jill has Stage 4 Metastatis Colorectal Bowel Cancer, diagnosed August 18. She was immediately hospitalised with pending surgery to remove a tumour on her bowel. Shortly after the surgery Jill had 8 rounds of Chemotherapy. She was on top of the world when Chemo was finished. Unfortunately celebrations were shortly dampened when within weeks a CT scan showed a 6cm tumour in her pelvic region. Further surgery two weeks after detection, when removed this had grown to 15cm. Jill very in tune with her body felt something was not right a few weeks later. A visit to ED another CT Scan has shown she has a further two tumours, one in the stomach and one on the bowel.
Determined to beat this, Jill has been researching the best alternatives for her. Her oncologist has offered further rounds of chemo which she will have, in conjunction with repurposed drugs, IV Vitamin C twice weekly, strict diet, exercise and health supplement. Those lucky enough to know Jill, know her willingness to pay it forward, always helping others, never turning anyone away that would need a friend to talk to, a meal and even a bed or two, no matter the time of day or night.
All monies donated will be used for the heath care needed, including Specific blood tests, repurposed drugs, Vitamin C IV treatments and health supplements. Any surplus Jill will donate to the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute in Wellington.
Every little gift you can donate will make a difference, give up that coffee, that wine, that unnecessary purchase. Please help, we need your help for Jill to fight this hideous disease. With love and thanks in advance xx
