Reuben is a gorgeous, happy 11 year old boy who had just been diagnosed with Leukaemia. Long hard road ahead - please help.

Reuben is an 11 year old boy who found out two days after Christmas - he has Leukaemia. He will have long stays in hospital needing Chemotherapy at Starship Hospital, Auckland.

We wish to be able to relieve some of the financial pressure the family will be under due to this illness. We want his parents, Gwen and Robin, to be able to fully concentrate on Reuben and their three other children.

Also, want to help raise funds for family to travel from Ireland to support them through this long and hard journey.

I work with Gwen and I am a family friend. Their son has been diagnosed with Leukaemia. I want to help to relieve the financial burden for them.

Use of funds

For hospital visits. Dr's appointments. A home tutor for Reuben. Helping to remove the financial strain on the parents.

The Month of June was a good month for Reuben. 29 June 2018

Reuben got good news from his tests - he was in remission. So he has a month from treatment which has been a blessing for Reuben. He has been able to eat and have a bit of fun - instead of feeling sick and tests, procedures etc.

Reuben's dog took sick and had to be put down which brought a lot of sadness to the family. But last weekend - a very generous person gave The Davis Family a new dog. The dog, Monty, has brought great happiness to them all. Reuben has something to cuddle when he is feeling not so well.
