{Please help support Anna, a young mother fighting her second battle against cancer. First, Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma and now Ovarian Cancer

Back in May, Anna was feeling under the weather, and was having a lot of symptoms she recognised from when she battled Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma (at age 21).

Feeling something just wasn’t right, Anna reached out to her GP who was also very concerned of the fact she hadn’t been able to get better after a bout of bronchitis (from March/April).

From there they started the tests, CT scans, MRI & ultrasound’s

On the 5th of July it was confirmed & Anna was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.

Anna is currently awaiting specialised surgery scheduled for the end of the month, where they’ll remove the tumour & effected reproductive organs.

It is a major surgery that will take approx 4+ hours to complete, and with a long recovery time, Anna will be off work on bed rest for a minimum of 6 weeks.

We are unsure of the future prognosis, but are remaining positive for her & her family.

Anna has been an incredible friend of mine for over 20 years. She is absolutely devoted and selfless mother to her beautiful daughter Jade and amazing wife to Tom.

Pretty much the best outcome possible!

They’ll monitor me via ultrasounds at 6 months, 12 months & 2 years. And at that point if there is no recurrence, I’ll be in complete remission 😍

I want to thank everyone for their generosity, through the GAL page etc. You guys have made the last 6 weeks being off work healing, so much easier with not having to stress about bills, mortgage etc.

It’s left us with a wee stepping stone to get life back to normal & enjoy some much needed familty time, planned for this summer 🥰

And a massive thank you to our family & friends who’ve stepped in and helped with caring for Jade, making us meals while I was stuck in bed, and for calling in and picking up the vacuum cleaner - we appreciate you all so much! 🫶🏻

Today has been a big day. I’m sad that my baby is growing up & turned 4 today, but I’m so incredibly elated to know I’ll be here to continue to watch her grow 🖤
