Manila Philippines Childrens Garden Orphanage

$2,660 of $4,000 goal
Given by 37 generous donors in 16 days

Childrens Garden is an orphanage in Manila that floods every time it rains leaving the kids sleeping on wet beds etc. Help me change this.

Nationwide

In the Philippines largest city, Manila, is the Childrens Garden Orphanage which provides HOPE for some who have been left without a family, and as a result, without a home. Without a social welfare system, destitution results.

The Orphanage has a small premises in Manila that is badly in need of remedial work. The roof leaks and so every time it rains it floods leaving the kids sleeping in wet surroundings on floor-based mattresses. YOUR donation will help provide funds to fix the roof, make the orphanage watertight, and other restoration.

To help raise funds I am;

- entered in the Sovereign TRI (Olympic distance) at Mt Maunganui on 7th December 2014, and

- matching YOUR donation dollar-for-dollar (to a max of $2,000).

PLEASE SPONSOR ME in this Triathlon as I swim (1500m), cycle (40kms) and run (10kms) this competitive event for the kids at the Childrens Garden Orphanage in Manila.

Sponsorship ideas:

- lump sum, or

- race time based donation. My target is to do the triathlon in under 3 hours, so maybe you can donate a sum for every minute under 3 hours (remember I match you dollar-for-dollar), or

- both.

Check out the video links on this page to see what this is really all about. You'll also find my times for the last TRI I did in 2011.

And then please sponsor me and help me reach my goal!
