Marathon for Karen Students

My name is Ezekiel and I am a tertiary student in Tauranga. I have decided to run the Taupō Marathon on Saturday, 6 August 2022. I am running this Marathon to help support refugees in Thailand. In 2019 I went to Thailand on a missions trip and taught English to a group of Karen people, who are an indigenous ethnich group native to Myanmar/Burma.

Now five of those I taught have scholarships to Universities, these scholarships don’t cover living costs however. I am raising money to help them with these costs. Each student needs $2,000 NZD (50,000 Thai Baht) per year, so $10,000 a year for all five students. I am asking you to donate money on the condition that I complete this Marathon.
