MDANZ has a team running in Round the Bays. Please support us to get across the line for neuromuscular research.

MDANZ has a neuromuscular research arm which funds the New Zealand NMD Registry, provides scholarships to young researchers, funds finding-the-gene studies for difficult-to-diagnose conditions, co-funds clinical trials and works to increase neuromuscular research opportunities in New Zealand so that people with neuromuscular conditions can have improved access to care and treatment.

Funds raised will be used to fund neuromuscular research in New Zealand.

We are a member-led non profit and have been supporting Kiwi families with neuromuscular conditions for almost 60 years.

Use of funds

We support children, families and individuals throughout their lifespan. Every dollar raised will go towards research that will benefit New Zealanders living with a neuromuscular condition.
