Please support our 'Merinos May' appeal - this helps us to do the essential mahi of helping to keep babies warm.
Otago
Winter is coming, and that means that whānau are worrying about how to keep their little ones warm (It's even more stressful this year given the cost of everything).
That's where we come in. We try to help with some of the essentials such as merinos and woollens which we provide at no cost to whānau. They are something very practical which help to keep a baby warm, but it's also about saying 'Things are tough at times, but there are people in your community that care about you'.
We need your help to be able to do this.
You could make a donation to us via Givealittle, and we would use this to buy merinos.
You could buy some merinos yourself to donate to us (You'll find us in the heart of the South Dunedin community at 132 Hillside Rd)
You could donate us some merinos or woollens that your tamariki have outgrown (We love to reuse and we do a lot of that - it's just hard for us to keep up with the need with reused items only).
You could knit a woollen hat, singlet, or pair of booties to donate to us.
Ngā mihi for your support.
We provide information, advice, and practical support at no cost to families whānau in Dunedin.
The money will be used to buy merinos for babies.
That you immensely for this - it's so stressful for whānau worrying about keeping little ones warm over winter, so this is a huge help.
Thank you immensely for this - it's a huge help to us in helping to keep little ones warm - merinos are so very much needed over the colder months.
