Why do Chinese believers need these cards?

There are very few resources inside China for believers to access, very few if any Christian bookstores, some churches even share Bibles amongst themselves. After printing and delivering many books and Bibles since the mid-80s it became increasingly difficult to get these resources to the places that needed them. We were swamped with requests for book and Bibles, the demand was far greater than our ability to supply.

In 2016 our literature team and a fellow coworker from another organisation sat down to discuss the way forward. Out of that meeting came the idea to supply all the books and bibles we had be distributing physically as paper copies, together with any other material we get hour access to, in the form of a smartphone app and fit it onto a MicroSD card. That is when AppSTER was born! After months of development and testing, we launched our first copies inside China. After a steady start, we are now distributing approximately 3000 cards per month but again the damnd is overwhelming. But now we are sending them not one or two books but whole libraries of books and bibles together hundreds of other resources such as video and audio training materials.

Individual Partnership Program

CCSM aims to see one million MicroSD cards produced and distributed to believers around China by 2025.

How it works

Our Individual Partnership Program is in place to encourage individuals in the west to partner with and sponsor a city in China and help provide SD Cards for them. (see our infographic)

You can choose a city either from the ‘Featured city list’ or from the full list of over 500 cities and commit to purchasing the number of SD cards (or part thereof) required for that city and to remember them in prayer.

We will attempt to visit the locations you are sponsoring and give feedback directly to you (of course, security will always be paramount and if we sense that a visit to a given city puts the believers in that area at risk, then we won’t travel there).
