Support Ana-Carolina’s in her new home with her family, as they are unable to work due to the level of care they have to provide for her.

Thanks to all our supporters over the years. It is amazing to finally leave the hospital after over 5 years! The Orewa community is wonderful and the area is ideal. People have been very welcoming, and Ana-Carolina can walk for miles around the beach, estuary and shops.

She is now attending school. A major milestone only 3 months after leaving the hospital. It will be lovely for her to finally interact with her peers and become used to a normal life 😊

Unfortunately, we have been unable to return to work and we cannot find enough support works yet and the health system does not support parents of children under 18 years old. We have to make up the shortfall and provide the care our daughter needs until then. Plus, the costs of supplements, her extra needs, living and renting in Auckland.

About us

Long Term Ventilated Children-The purpose of the Trust will be to support children (dependent on ventilated breathing support 24 hours a day) and their families with integration back into the community and ongoing support.

Use of funds

Support Ana-Carolina in the community, as well as the costs of supplements, her extra needs, and living and renting in Auckland whilst her parents are unable to work due to the level of care they have to provide for her.
