Mom on the Mound

My goal is to further my career to the top New Zealand national teams in the form of playing and coaching(youth teams). Unfortunately women’s softball is not funded even at the highest level. Currently, I am at a club in Christchurch. There are two main reasons I have moved to this club; firstly, this club is in a competitive league and has the coaching and tools I need to move forward and secondly, it strengthens my connections nationally within the softball league. This team has taken me in as their own and creates a positive connection to softball and youth. My job is still connected to the Waikato where I stay to develop locally and give back by developing the game within communities. I come to you asking for help which will cover the cost in travel for this season and the upcoming season.
