😿 My best mate Maverick needs urgent surgery 🧡🐾

"Hi everyone, JP here.

It's very hard to write this with tears in my eyes… Maverick is genuinely my best mate. I got him and his brother Smokey when they were kittens. They’ve been inseparable their whole lives. Proper brothers. Always together.

Maverick has developed a large bone tumour in his right hind leg. The only good news is his health is really good making him a viable candidate for amputation. The vets believe he will cope well on three legs but the entire process will cost almost $5,000, (biopsy, X-ray, surgery, aftercare meds, and follow-up), which I can’t cover fast enough on my own.

I know people hear “business owner” and assume we’re ‘flush’ — but I have two employees to support and don’t have the extra money available to use… sadly Maverick needs help sooner rather than later.

If you’ve ever had a pet who isn’t just a pet, but your little shadow, your comfort and constant friend — you get it. 😿Maverick is the cat who climbs up my leg when I get home; follows me around the house; parks himself beside me like he’s on duty; and sleeps on my bed.
