We believe every young person has potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors help form strong positive relationships that express care, challenge growth, share power, and expand possibilities.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Christchurch has been backing the potential of local young people for over 20 years.
We create and support life-changing mentoring relationships between tamariki and a trusted adult mentors. Through friendship, encouragement, and consistent connection, our mentors help young people grow confidence, build resilience, and see the strengths already within themselves.
Every match is carefully made and professionally supported by our local team, so each young person has someone safe, steady, and positive in their corner.
