We need to expand and upgrade our Centre for the 1,600+ animals who temporarily call us home each year.

To better serve our community and it's animals with a new Education Centre, expanded kitten room, quarantine, isolation facilities, outdoor areas and dog-wash.

About us

Enforcing the Animal Welfare Act 1999; Offering a 24 Hour Emergency Service; Educating and inspiring learners of all ages; Rehoming stray, abandoned and unwanted animals; Providing Pet Encounter Therapy sessions for the elderly and disabled; Controlling Feral Cat populations; Offering a Microchipping service; Providing an annual Desexing Scheme in June/July; Working closely with the Police, CYF and Napier City Council.
