Building NZ’s Batmobile Tumbler – Powered by Community

Bay of Plenty

“Welcome! I’m building New Zealand’s first screen accurate Batmobile Tumbler, straight from Batman Begins, right here in New Zealand.

It all started with a simple thought why not? No one has one in New Zealand, and being so far from the rest of the world makes epic projects like this feel even more special. So I’m making it happen.

The steel structure and wheels are already kindly donated and completely free and I’d love to keep as much of the build as possible powered by community support, using donated parts, materials, and help from awesome people like you.

This Batmobile won’t just sit in a shed. It will be fully functional, and I plan to take it to charity events, hire for kids’ parties, special appearances, and fun community days bringing a bit of Batman magic and excitement to families across New Zealand. Donations will also support a chosen charity alongside the build.

Help power New Zealand’s first real Batmobile. Let’s build something amazing together. 🦇

I’ll be adding regular updates, progress photos, and a detailed parts wish-list as the project grows.

Thank you for joining the journey!”

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
