Operation Adopt! Help us grow our family.

We are the Schaumann family, Marney, Clarke and Oliver. We've been married for 12 years, and had our first of 3 miscarriages 10 years ago. By some miracle we were blessed to have Oliver join our family 6 years ago, but have not been able to maintain a pregnancy otherwise. After trying again for two years after our third miscarriage, including insemination, we realized that we needed to choose between IVF or adoption. Adoption is something we were always open to and now finally feels like the right time to pursue it. We have chosen to adopt from The Marshall Islands, a tiny Micronesian nation in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

The costs associated with adoption are incredibly high, ours might cost up to $50,000 NZD by the end of the process. In order to complete our match we need to raise nearly $13,000 (ahh, I just had a heart attack typing that!). Any help, no matter how small will be received with much gratitude.
