My Transplant Story, my book to raise awareness of organ donation
I want to get my book published to raise awareness of organ donation. Grant is doing his run to help with the costs of publication.

9 months ago I had a bilateral lung transplant that saved my life. For every pair of lungs that becomes available for transplant there are at least 3 people waiting. I want to raise awareness of organ donation and the issues around it, while telling my personal story and that of my family....and to honour my donor and their family. Should we raise enough to publish my story, any extra will be used to help with incidentals for families involved with transplantation eg parking etc via random acts of kindness...

wow, this is going so well, I am now close to halfway with the book and it is taking on a life of its own.....keep an eye out this Sunday for the Herald on Sunday, I have done an interview there about my journey and the hopefully upcoming book. Thanks for the support so far and please help me spread the word and get awareness out there....I know we can do this....
