Samoa Rugby League World Cup Finals LIVE SCREENING EVENT for Otara

Hi everyone!

This is a very last minute fundraiser to support getting a fanzone setup for our beloved Otara community to come through and watch the live finals game that we will be streaming to the public at the Otara Town Centre carpark Sunday 20th Nov at 5am for free thanks to Spark Sport. Events of this nature usually have weeks in advance planning as there are a variety of compliance and resource costs associated. We have 4 days to pull this off! There are a number of items that need to be urgently covered to make this work and we have received a large number of requests from local residents wanting to get on board to make this happen. Just to give you an indication of some of our quotes we are having to cover, they include: Giant mobile screen $7k + GST, Sound & Tech $15k, Traffic Management $10k, Security (Quote pending but will be around the 10k mark), not including Generator, Portaloos, Waste management and a few other small items. These figures can sound scary but I know a collective effort can pull it off. We have pulled a few organisations together and they have offered to contribute from $1k - $2k each and because of that shortfall we are stepping in to boost more of our own funds behind this during a month where we are actually trying to fundraise for our own charitable trust :-). We don't mind, it is what it is, and this event is truly one to be celebrated so we are making it work. Any help though would be amazing!
