Funding to assist with the New Build of Our Marae..

We need your help! To Awhi our New build of our Wharenui (Meeting House) Whare Kai (Dinning Area) Wharepaku (Ablution block) & car park area totalling a whopping 4.2MIL for an entire project rebuild.
Our humble facilities are in need of a do over, so we are working hard behind the scenes to make this possible.. as you can imagine this comes at great cost, being a non profitable organisation we rely solely on Funding available to us via the Ministry / Lotto and the generosity of our Beneficiaries/others.
The purpose of our give a little page is to build a contingency fund to keep the build going..
All Funds raised will be utilised to assist with furnishing our Whare. We will be able purchase the Key Items such as, New pillows, Matrices, Pillow cases, Sheets, Mats, Curtains/blinds seating/forms etc. MILESTONE E
We have split the New Build in to 3 major projects
1. Wharenui - (Currently) with 5 milestones.
A. completion of foundations, floor slap
B. wall and roof framing
C. Cladding, roofing, windows
D. Pre-line services, Lining
E. Interiors fit out, commissioning and completion

E te whanau whānui the day began early with the first concrete truck arriving at 7am. The crew worked non-stop until 9.30am when the last truck arrived for completion. 11 truckloads from Haruru Concrete in Taumarere to finish the entire job.
The kaimahi left Whangarei just after 3am. Great effort by Josh, Phil and the team.

E te whanau regardless of all the rain and massive change of weather the build carries on.
The timber arrived early yesterday morning so Josh and Bevan could direct the operator.
Timber for preparation of walls will begin next week.
Dismantling of the concrete shutters is almost complete. The poured concrete pad is ready for the next step of the project.
