It's Paul's last chance to fight cancer and get more time with his young family. Help us by funding his unfunded medication.

Hi friends and people I don't know alike,
For the last three years I've been fighting stage 4 colon cancer as well as being a new father to a wonderful now 3.5 yr old boy.
Some will know my journey, and the donations I received three years ago went a long way to helping me survive this long by allowing me to access critical unfunded medication. You also showed me how much support I had around me which means so much to someone going through this.
After 30 rounds of chemo, two liver surgeries, two colon surgeries, and all of the complications possible, things have now progressed and due to the lack of mutations in my cancer I have very limited options available to me. In fact, right now there is only one, Regorafenib.
Regorafenib costs just under $5000 per month, and to start with I want to ensure I have enough for four months worth of treatment. I will know if it is working within a couple of months and can revisit funding requirements after that.
Thank you from
Paul, Camila, and Leonardo.
The unfunded medication Regorafenib.
Update. 2 November 2023
Thank you to everyone for your donations, you truly are wonderful people and it means the world to Camila and I. Seeing your love gives me more energy for the fight and holding off those depressive thoughts.
Thanks to your donations I was able to start taking regorafenib just over two weeks ago. Although I've had more complications and hospital time with my bile ducts the new drug is being tolerated well. I think it is only affecting my voice and possible giving me some additional fatigue.
I've had more ct scans which show more disease progression, but these are for the bile duct issues and it is too early to know whether the regorafenib is working at all. Disease progression is expected. I have other week before a week off and then start the next cycle which your support has also already funded.
I've lost 5kg over the last couple of months, but I've been feeling good the last couple of days (despite being in hospital in Whangarei), have been able to eat a lot more, and I think I've finally put a kg back on.
