Please help Laurence fight Esophageal & Stomach Cancer

Hi.

My name is Laurence Powell, I'm 54yrs old and I have been diagnosed with Esophageal and Gastric stomach cancer, that has also spread to my Liver. Advanced stage. It is a rare and deadly form of cancer, about 370 NZ cases a year. No cure just treatment. I am not suitable for surgery. Chemotherapy and possibly immuno therapy, to hopefully extend some time.

I am reaching out to my community for financial help please. I live in Palmerston North and love living a simple life based around nature. I work fulltime but may quickly have to take unpaid leave for treatment moving to eventual unemployment.

I have lived in NZ my whole life. I am asking for donations towards living expenses while under treatment please, so I can stay in my rented home and also emotionally support my 18yr old son through this process, I have looked at all my financial options, WINZ, etc, also selling everything I don't need. Donations will be used for living expenses only, I don't drink, smoke, gamble or have any bad habits.

What I thought was gastritis has become very serious very quickly. I am a family and community oriented person and love the country I live in, I also love my little fox terrier girl Nova who is 1.5yrs old. I understand so many others are suffering too, so I only ask for any help that is realistic to help me through. Thank you sincerely, I am truly grateful for this life so far and your kindness.
