Our gentle lovely rescue pup Molly has been in pain for weeks and after chasing specialists we've finally been told she needs hip surgery.
Nationwide
We thought long and hard about asking people help for our beautiful Molly and in the end we decided we had to everything we can to help our baby. Molly is one of our 3 babies, and we adopted her from the SPCA when she was a puppy. For the last 10 weeks she has been in pain and limping. She can't play with her brother Stitch or go outside for a walk or throw her toys around. After going to several vets and chasing specialists, we are left with hip replacement surgery. We thought we'd wait to see how she went, and her legs take turns being sore, and she limps on both sides at different times, which indicates a painful hip. We have changed her diet and are supplementing her with joint and pain-alleviating foods and extras but we have nowhere left to turn other than surgery. We will not give up on our Molly and as a young family with a new baby, it's been tough. We know it's tough for everyone out there and all of us are struggling during COVID, but Molly is breaking our hearts and we have to try everything we can. We appreciate anything you can spare for our beautiful rescued girl. If we get more than we need, it will all be donated to animal rescue work. Thank you so much for your support, we appreciate it more than we can ever express. Knee surgery 31 August 2020
Our darling Molly just had her knee operated on as we're giving that a go before hip surgery is an option. We had to go for it as she was limping too much and was in too much pain and hip surgery is too expensive at this point. She's doing great and is on pain medication. Thank you all for your support so far.
