Poor Boy Needs Surgery

This is Gus, I adopted him almost a year ago and at the moment he's not doing so great.

We went for a walk through our paddocks last week and came back to find poor Gus' eye swelling and he couldn't open his mouth without yelping. I've taken him to the vet a few times already and we have narrowed it down to being a foreign body, most likely a grass seed to be stuck somewhere behind his eye or in his forehead tissue.

I've already spent almost $2,000 on his vet bills and I'm at a point where I can't afford much more... its also looking like he is going to need surgery to fix his issue. The vet said he would need a CT scan to see where it is and also he would need to be referred to a specialist surgeon as the area the seed is in, is very delicate, with it being close to the eye and brain it's a risky surgery. The vet guessed it would cost $6000 upwards.

I worried for my baby, if the issue isn't sorted he could suffer from other issues, especially if the infection interferes with any nerves and major muscles in his face.

It's killing me that he's suffering due to my lack of funds.
