‘Pound Paws Furever’ house fundraiser
Oamaru, Otago
I am at crossroads right now. I find out on Tuesday if the house I am renting is sold. I have been incredibly lucky to have a like-minded animal loving landlord that happily allowed me to foster dogs continually over the last 3 years, with very low rent costs. This has saved and changed many lives!
My hope is to find a home that I can call my own and to be able continue to rescue and foster dogs. I do not need anything fancy, it's just for me and animals in need. All I have is put into this. It's my sole purpose in life, some may find that sad, but I am OK with it.
I am appealing to anyone out there that has maybe seen and appreciated the work I (along with a wonderful team) have carried out over the years, and would be willing to invest in the future of Pound Paws by way of contributing towards the purchase of a property where I can continue this work without limitations, restrictions or strings attached that would come with a rented property. I have been reluctant to make this post, but have put my what, if and buts aside and just did it. I want to continue to run Pound Paws, rescue and foster.
SAVE LIVES. STOP THE BREEDING. SPAY NEUTER.

I am very happy to update you all that I have found a home! And I can continue to foster dogs! This is a huge relief for me!
Thank you so much to everyone that was able to make a donation, you are all very much appreciated. There was also a very generous private donation that came in which was an amazing surprise. We were then able to secure a property for purchase.
The property is old and overgrown, it needs a new roof and carpets where the water has leaked in. It has space to set up storage systems and a proper office area. It has a spacious private backyard which is so awesome! It's in a good location too! I would also like to thank my parents for their ongoing support. Dad is retired and will have plenty to keep him busy with this place.
I am very grateful to have this very positive outcome.
Thanks so much ❤
