Based around North Otago/South Canterbury, take in dogs from further afield, from all types of desperate situations. We are often their last hope. Many are needing extensive veterinary treatment – dental extractions, arthritis treatment, x-rays, fracture repairs, heart medication, bloods, behavioural support, special diets. We are strong advocates of spay/neuter and we offer assistance to struggling pet owners.

Self funded and rely on our own fundraising efforts and donations from the public.

From being able to help the injured dogs surrendered to vet clinics & requiring urgent surgeries, to the numerous dentals, xrays, community spay/neuters, to the ongoing care of our lifelong stayers - seniors, ongoing medical dogs, behavioural dogs and of course the day to day care of our other rescued foster dogs awaiting adoption - you've been a major part of ensuring that these dogs get the chance and the treasured lives that they all deserve. Thank you!
