Based around North Otago/South Canterbury, take in dogs from further afield, from all types of desperate situations. We are often their last hope. Many are needing extensive veterinary treatment – dental extractions, arthritis treatment, x-rays, fracture repairs, heart medication, bloods, behavioural support, special diets. We are strong advocates of spay/neuter and we offer assistance to struggling pet owners.

Self funded and rely on our own fundraising efforts and donations from the public.

Fig is still in a critical condition with septic peritonitis. Despite this, her spirit remains bright and she is eating well. She is at the After-hours vet clinic, most likely for the weekend. Her foster carer, Megan will pop in to visit her. We are extremely grateful for all of the support and kind messages. It really means a lot. Thank you. 💛✨️🐾

I absolutely love dogs but after losing two of my own to old age I am still struggling with adapting to another one. So sorry but I would like to donate $25.00 a month, it's not a lot but I hope it helps.
