Supporting Pukerau Cemetery Developments

On Wednesday 12th June a group of local volunteers moved the metal frame for the sheltor onto the concrete pad that was laid a few weeks earlier.

Our sincere thanks to volunteers - left to right -Ray Graham, Doug Walker, Richard Puanaki, Sam Pullar, Ian Pullar, Zac Brown, and Chris Pullar.

Further thank you for donations and expertise: Ray Graham who built the frame for us, donating his time and labour; Richard Puanaki, who along with Ian Pullar prepared the foundation donating the boxing and other materials required; and Ian Pullar, who paid for the concrete, and designed and donated the water tank.

The next part of the project is the brickwork which is due to start in August.
