I am raising money to give memories to my only son, before he passes from stage 4 bowel cancer.
Northland
Hi, my name is Owen. the young man you can see in photo is my autistic son Liam. In September 2017, he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bowel cancer. He has had three surgeries and 8 rounds of chemotherapy.
Time has now run out, as 4 brand new lesions are on what remains of his liver and the progression of the cancer to the lungs, the doctors have not given him much time to live.
Despite having to deal with bullying due to his autism and now his cancer, he is always positive. He is a true super hero.
As his mum and I are not together, Liam is not always with me so the times we spend are more important.
Although a large overseas holiday would be everyone's dream. The problem with travel insurance for someone with a terminal illness.
There are lots of things in New Zealand that will give Liam wonderful memories while I still have him in the time he has left.
I ask from the bottom of my heart to help me give my wonderful son some wonderful memories while he is still with me. Money raised will go towards travel costs, accommodation, and activities that he can do.
Many heart felt thanks to the wonderful give a little community. You are giving this amazing young man unforgettable memories.

Fun at Adventure Forest 26 January 2020
Yesterday Liam and I did the adventure forest in Glenbervie, as well as the swimming pools and glow in the dark mini golf. It was a fun filled day day, even if it was a bit scary at times(for Dad) up in the trees.
I am feeling so blessed, that not only is Liam well enough to do such things, but the amazing loving support from the givealittle community and other people that helps make even these little things possible.
God Bless
