When you adopt, you are helping rabbits twice: you're giving a discarded bunny a second chance, and you're freeing up foster care space to enable another homeless rabbit to be rescued.
The primary goals of Rabbit Rescue Hawkes Bay:
To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.
Total $200 To get One Rabbit started and given another chance into Rabbit Rescue Hawkes Bay (vet health checks, vacs, spay or neuter)
Rabbit rescue will only take up to 10 Rabbits at a time due to costs, and Property.

Desex a rabbit 20 January 2016
Help our rescue bunnies get another chance of finding their forever home. We are in need of donations to help 11 bunnies to get desexed and vaccined. It wil cost us $2200 to get this done and we don't get funding for what we do. Help those who can't speak for them selves. We can't help others until we can help these bunnies with the care they need pre forever homes. In the last 34 months we have helped 37 bunnies.
