Hey Guys

A few of you already know but for those of you who dont, my mum, Raewyn was diagnosed with breast cancer last Labour Weekend. Luckily she had found it early enough and went through with a mascetomy within the month. Since then she has had a rough time of it, with an infection in a wound and delaying the start of her chemotherapy, which is being used to clear up the last of the cancer. She started today and has 6 treatments over the next 18 weeks.

From the start she has not worried about who has known and not wanted to hide the fact she has Cancer. As she would much rather more people know and think more about regular check ups. As she was lucky she did her own check in October, as the mammogram back in April showed that no Cancer was present.

It has been a rough road so far, so thought I would start this page up, seeing as in the past she was the kind of person who would help any of her friends in need. Be it with baking or cooking, always there to listen and support in times of need.

So in short, I have started this page up to help raise some funds to give to her to go on a little trip once she is through the chemo.

And if anyone is thinking about visiting her, just do it. She would love to have visitors. Seeing as Chemo can be quite draining, just give me a text before you plan on going and I will let you know if it is a good time.
