Kia ora! We’re the RS Runclub, a passionate rangatahi-led group stepping outside our comfort zones for a cause that’s close to our hearts—the Rise+Shine Josiah Mika Foundation. In loving memory of Josiah, this charity supports our vision to empower young people to rise above adversity, embrace resilience, and truly shine.

This year marks our second year participating in the Auckland Marathon’s Run the City, and we’re excited to announce our first event in Whakatāne with the Toi Challenge! This initiative is a fundraiser to support the mission of the Rise+Shine Josiah Mika Foundation, helping to create positive opportunities for children, youth, and their whānau.

With the guidance and leadership of our incredible rangatahi leads, Jerome and Osita, you’ll receive personalised training based and inspiration based on their own journeys. We have fun training events for all levels—walking, jogging, and running—so whether you’re a beginner or looking to challenge yourself, everyone is welcome!
