PLEASE HELP BUBBLES AND BUSTER
Waikato
Bubbles and Buster arrived in late May 2021 to the Taupo RDA. Bubbles and Buster were rescued by the SPCA, they were in dire need of food, veterinary care, farrier treatments and also some very much needed TLC.
We travelled a few hours to meet these beautiful gentlemen and fell in love instantly. Both ponies rated very low on body condition and had a score of >1 and there had been a fear that Buster would not survive. Due to the amazing care of the SPCA and now our care, we are all very hopeful, that they will both make a complete and full recovery. These very sweet boys deserve some love and attention. They came to us overwhelmed and very underweight, both now are slowly gaining weight, enjoy our company and run to the fence to greet us each day....
The fairytale ending would be that they could enter our programme and help some of our Taupo community in return.
The cost to rehabilitate these gorgeous boys would be massive, however we do have the grass, land and hay to be able to help them. We would like some additional help, to purchase covers, hard feed, supplements and to cover their ongoing daily basic needs... I will continue to update everyone here on how they are progressing. And also on our Facebook page......
Please help in anyway you can, every bit will help these boys back to health.
We also require volunteers if this is of any interest.
We provide a therapeutic riding programme offering help children and young adults, to improve physical, psychological and social abilities.
Feed, medical, chiropractor, covers, farrier treatments, session training, veterinary treatments and supplement requirements
Our main goal is to get these gorgeous animals back to a healthy weight so they are able to live a happy and healthy life.
