Romchild supporting Everyone's Child Romania- Cycle Fundraiser- the NZ Leg
Sponsor us to cycle 214 km from Christchurch to the West Coast in only 2 days to raise money for the work of Everyone's Child Romania.

We're at it again - another crazy cycle ride to raise money for the invaluable work of Everyone's Child Romania (ECR). Thisis where you can sponsor myself, Warren, Rosz, Lindsay, Rory and others as we attempt the hardest ride so far - Christchurch to the West Coast in 2 days!!!
That's 214 km in 2 days - could be easy if we were top class athletes but far from it.
All the funds raised will be used by Paul Davies and the ECR team to provide books, clothes and other materials which will enable the young people they support who are living with HIV / Aids to attend school.
Romchild is a NZ initiative to support Everyone's Child Romania (ECR), a UK registered Romanian based charity which has been working since 2000 to support poor families with HIV infected children. ECR aims to provide independence and sense of self-worth for the survivors who are healthy enough to work & to offer holistic health care to those who can't.

We did it! 6 November 2019
We made it as planned and we are still very excited about how it went. beautiful weather, the only tough weather part was a strong head wind near the end of the first day but.... it could have been much worse.
We got all the way to Arthur's Pass on the first day which was further than planned. Great work Rosz. Lindsay, Rory, Dave and Laura (our support driver).
I'm blown away by the support and the very generous donations. Thanks so much to those that have donated and also to those that would like to but aren't able to at the moment - we appreciate the messages of support too.
Paul from ECR has been in touch and is very grateful for the moral and financial support.
So thanks and I wonder what the challenge will be for next year!!
