Join our Zambezi expedition, empowering youth and providing clean water in Central Africa. Help me reach my $8,000 goal!
Dunedin, Otago
Since 2018, RowZambezi has been embarking on daring expeditions, navigating the Zambezi River's treacherous waters, overcoming challenges like crocodiles and hippos in sectioned legs. Our upcoming journey in July 2024 marks the final leg of this epic adventure, leading us westward through Mozambique to conclude our expedition at the coast.
RowZambezi has helped with the establishment of the Kansanshi Rowing Club near the Zambezi River's source, providing boys and girls with the opportunity to embrace rowing. I had the privilege of contributing to the club's foundation as a coach for a month in early 2020. It fills me with honur and excitement to be part of this expedition and to contribute to the growth of the club, offering life-changing opportunities through rowing for Central Africans.
In addition to our work with the rowing club, RowZambezi has supported initiatives for clean water in Zambia, including the sinking of boreholes. We're currently raising funds for Village Water, an organisation committed to securing water sources for those in need in Central Africa.
As the countdown to our final leg approaches, I will be erging the 300km distance of the leg of the Zambezi from now until the expedition. I humbly request your support in helping us reach my personal goal of $8,000.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of Central Africans and continue our journey of exploration and impact.
Having spent a month in Northwest Zambia coaching at Kansanshi Rowing Club, I feel empowered to contribute to such an exciting cause. As well as raising money for clean water, I believe that we can make a positive permanent change!
