Raising money for 5 year old Blake who has leukaemia again
Christchurch, Canterbury
Blake is a sweet 5 year old boy who was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leaukemia (AML) a case of blood cancer on the 24th of October 2023. After months of harsh treatment he was finally in remission, until 14th of October this year where tests came back saying the cancer has unfortunately returned. Blake now awaits months of intense chemo in Christchurch before being taken to starship for a bone marrow transplant, then weeks of further testing and platelet transfusions. I (Chelsea Middlemass) am going to be running/ walking the distance from Balclutha where Blake lives with his dad to Christchurch hospital (438km) over the months of November and December to raise money to help them through this tough time. Blake should be at school, playing sports, racing hot wheels living the life of a normal 5 year old but instead he will be spending his 6th birthday and Christmas in hospital receiving intense treatment. Cody his father is a solo parent who is going to be off work for a long time supporting his brave boy. This is every parent's worst nightmare please please dig deep and let's get Blake living the life he deserves, Any amount helps ❤️

Unfortunately cancer doesn't stop bills Cody is a single father with sole custody and will be off work for over 6 months to be with Blake in hospital. Money will be used to help them survive financially over this period and take a small load off Cody.
